Dear Wahoo Parents,

I can not believe that the end of the summer is already here!! I say this every year like it's going to change or something! But here we are!! It's time for the Championship meet of the year. My son's year around team calls it the "GKAISA Olympics" and I love that!! This is my most favorite meet of the year, and I hope you're ready!!

We have received our worker assignments and they are up on the website. We need two timers on Lane 2 for all sessions all three days plus a runner for 3 sessions on Friday. Timing together is super fun so I encourage you to sign up with a friend!! You are right there close to the action, and the time passes quickly! The last session ending times are an estimate. It could be a longer session. It could be shorter. It's just the last session of the day. Please sign up to work here.

Our warm-ups on Friday are at 7:40 am. Please be at the Crestwood tent and settled by 7:20. Warm-ups Saturday are at 7:55 am. Please be at the Crestwood tent and settled by 7:35. Warm-ups for finals are at 7:40 am so please be at the tent by 7:20 that day as well.

If you have signed up your child for City Meet, it is super important that they actually show up. We pay per child to be in the meet, and your child has already been paid for. Also, it messes up relays for 3 other children if your child isn't there. It's not like other meets where we can substitute. Remember 11 & up swim on Friday, 10 & under on Saturday, and Finals for all ages are on Sunday. Please check results to see if your kids made finals. It's very common for kids to make finals in relays so don't assume that just because your kid doesn't usually get first place that they won't make finals!! We will try to post each evening a link to see who made it.

Everyone please verify your RSVP for the end of the season banquet here. We have a question about some so just make sure your names are there and the correct number of RSVPs. We will also have a slideshow at the banquet so please send in your swim team pictures ASAP to Thomas Knight at this dropbox.

Thursday is our last day of practice, and it's the day for our 12 & unders to have their "Popsicles and Polish" and also the pasta party!! If you have any red, white and blue nail polish that you're willing to let us use, please bring it in Thursday morning!! We will have everyone ready for City with amazing nails!! Also bring a pasta dish to share for the pasta party.
