Time to get out your calendars!

Registration for the 2019 summer swim season is open (cwhwahoos.swimtopia.com). While you are registering, please go ‘Like’ our Facebook page @CrestwoodHillsWahoos. This ‘official’ swim team page is where you will be able to see the team’s announcements. Swim practice will begin Tuesday, May 28^th. You can pay on our website or send a check made out to Crestwood Hills Swim Team (please include child’s name) to Elisa Hickman at 1500 Westin Place, Knoxville, TN 37922.

There will be a picture of our new t-shirt on the website in March. Please support our team by becoming a sponsor.  Our swim team family wears their shirts all year long, so everybody will see your company's logo.  A Silver level company sponsorship is $300 and includes your logo on the back of our t-shirt and on our Swimtopia website. A Gold sponsorship is $500 and also includes the ability to hang your company banner (provided by you) at swim events. A family sponsorship is $100 and includes your name (or child’s name) on the back of the t-shirt. If you are interested, please email Audrey Brown at [email protected]. Our deadline for sponsorships is May 1^st, which will allow us to get your t-shirts ordered immediately after the two week trial period ends.

GKAISA’s meet scheduling meeting is not until April; we will let you know Crestwood’s meet schedule as soon as it is finalized. We will also have final dates for important swim team activities such as the Weigel’s Fun Run, tubing, the Lock-in, a movie day, Popsicles-and-Polish and pancake breakfasts at the pool!

City Meet is on Thursday July 25^th through Saturday the 27^th this year. Please note that due to another event scheduled at the University of Tennessee, it starts on THURSDAY instead of Friday. Our banquet will be on the evening of Sunday, July 28^th.

Our annual ‘Meet the Coaches’ bonfire and s’mores event will be on April 14^th from 5:30-8:00 at Crestwood Hills Recreation Center. Bring your chairs and s’mores ingredients and hang out with Coach Parker and your Crestwood friends! Please invite any families who you think would be interested in our team.

Crestwood Hills Recreation Center is having a fundraiser at Salsarita’s (105 Moss Grove Blvd.) on Thursday, February 21^st. Mention Crestwood Hills and a portion of sales will be donated to our pool!

We would like to welcome Pam Duncan as Secretary of the swim team board. Her daughter Savannah has been a valuable member of our team for the last few years. We are also looking for a parent to run our concession booth. If you are interested, please email Audrey at [email protected].
