Hello Crestwood Swim Team Parents,

As we begin a new swim season, here are a few helpful reminders the coaches and board want everyone to be aware of in order to keep practices as safe and productive as possible:

1. During practices only the coaches and swimmers who are currently practicing may be on the pool deck. This allows our coaches and swimmers to focus on the practice at hand. No one else (child or adult) may be on pool deck for any reason.
2. Any swimmer who is on pool deck must be actively participating in the practice. Practice time is limited so we need to be respectful of our coaches and other swimmers’ time.
3. During practices young children are allowed to play in the baby pool AS LONG AS a parent or another adult is watching them closely.
4. After the last practice morning practice, everyone must clear the pool area and gather outside the gate. Once the pool area is clear, lifeguards will allow everyone who is a member of the pool to reenter. This allows them to be sure everyone in the pool area is a pool member.

Also, we are going to add a new sponsorship level to include individual sponsorships. For $25, an individual can sponsor the team and have their name put on the back of the team shirt. How fun will it be for swimmers to have their name on the back of their team shirt?! We still have a few family sponsorships available as well for $100. The deadline to submit sponsorship information and payment is Friday, June 7th.

If your family is not a member of Crestwood Pool, please remember you need to pay an additional $100 per swimmer ($200 family limit) for the use of the pool. We still have a few families who have not paid for swim team yet. Please submit your payment to a board member as soon as possible.

Finally, we are still looking for a venue to hold our end of season banquet. Board members are looking into some local banquet and catering halls; however, the cost of banquet and catering halls will be much higher than we have paid for this event in previous years. Please let us know if you can help secure your church fellowship hall or another venue.
