    CWH swim update

    Dear Wahoos,

Thanks to all of our swimmers, parents, and volunteers -our Intrasquad meet was a great success! Swimmers are awarded ribbons for 1-6 places in each heat at Crestwood. You can find your swimmers' ribbons filed by last name in the filing cabinet under the small pavilion. Each family has a folder; please make sure all the ribbons belong to you as we have several families with the same last name. The two week trial is over after Monday’s practices. If you have been participating in the trial and paid $50 per swimmer, the balance on your swimmers is due Monday. If you are not a pool member you will also owe the additional $100 swim team only fee (per swimmer, capped at $200 per family). Please RSVP your intent to continue or stop. If you have communicated this to us and paid already, thank you. You may pay via Venmo or place your check in the swim team box on the wall of the pool office. If you have questions please email Audrey, Bethany, or Elisa. The Spirit Wear order form will remain open until Sunday at midnight. There is still time to get your corporate, family, or individual sponsorship on the T-shirt. We hope the t-shirts will be weathered blue but supply chain issues persist. Remember, do NOT sign up for the swimmers' free team shirts - those have already been accounted for and are a basic Gildan cotton T. Additional short sleeved t shirts purchased through the form will be a super soft 50/25/25 cotton/poly/rayon blend. Thank you to all our sponsors. And an extra big thank you to Sarah Chesney for designing  this year's shirt!

    Other housekeeping info:

Beginning Monday, we will transition parents and other swimmers off the deck during practice times. Swimmers must leave the pool deck when their practice is over. They cannot go to the deep end to play. Unless you've been granted permission from a Coach, parents may not sit on the deck during any practice. Every one of our swimmers is precious to us. Guards and staff need as little commotion as possible during practice for safety and for skill development. Younger swimmers MUST have a point person at the pool during practice. Crestwood Hills Pool policy states swimmers 11 and younger must have a parent or a designated person 15 years or older who stays the entire time in case of an emergency. Please make sure that you are available to escort your child to the restroom if they have to go during practice. Our staff must remain in the water with swimmers.
    Thank you!
