Happy Sunday Crestwood Families!

This week is a crazy busy one, so please bear with me for all of these lengthy emails. Although it does bring me great joy to write them, I try to stick to the necessary information only (: 

Tuesday is our Battle of the Bluff Meet at Gulf Park. Both Gulfwood and Gulf Park are similar to us in size and ability level, so we expect lots of fast swims. The competition should be pretty even, so get your kiddos ready! 

Here is the information for Tuesday.... 

1. Please be there at 3pm. We will warm-up shortly after. The meet will start at 4pm. PLEASE NOTE: this is two hours earlier than normal! If you are unable to make warm-up, this is ok. We understand this may be a tight squeeze! If you are thinking you will be late for the 4pm start, please let me know. 

2. The Gulf Park team representative has made Battle of the Bluff T-shirts. I will attach a picture of them below. She has ordered a variety of different sizes and will be selling them for $16 at Gulf Park TOMORROW morning during practice times (and after 3pm), as well as Tuesday after 3pm. Gulf Park is a super short drive away if you want to swing by and pick one up! 

3. Crestwood will be sitting on the tennis courts during the meet. It can be super hot and it offers no shade, so please please bring a tent!!! And even if you have an extra tent, please bring an extra for a friend. We have the whole court to set up on. 

4. Parking (long sigh). We have options. We can park along the street in the neighborhood (this will fill up fast). We also have permission to park at Cedar Bluff Elementary School and across the street at Knoxville Catholic. I personally recommend to carpool!!!! Please (: 

5. In terms of food, Gulf Park said they would be grilling and have snacks (similar to us). I still recommend bring LOTS to drink and snacks. 

6. The meet will have a hard cut off time of 9:30. Hopefully it won't be that long, but it will not go past that time.
