Thursday, June 15, will be our next special event day at practice! Get ready for Popsicles and Polish!! After the 9-12 practice, we'll start with the fun, and then the 8 & under can join in after theirs! 

The older kids will paint fingernails or toenails (or both) for the younger kids. And everyone gets popsicles!! And this is not just for girls! Oh no! Boys seem to like to have their nails painted just as much. I mean, who doesn't want fun color toenails?? Right? If the kids ask him, I bet even Coach Breck will get in on the fun!

I've opened up "jobs" for this event on the website to volunteer to bring nail polish and other accessories on Thursday. (Remember you can't sign up for non-swim meet events on the app so open your browser if you're using your phone.) Please don't buy anything extra!! We know lots of people have nail supplies at home so sign up and bring what you've got. Also let your older girls know we are counting on them to help. The younger kids love this--especially when they are their feeder coaches!! 

Carrie Cleland and Sarah Chesney will be your point people Thursday morning if you have questions. They will get those popsicles out to your kiddos!

(Also don't forget to have your kids vote for the SMI tent decorating contest! The ballot box was out this morning during practice, and we'll have it out the next couple of days to get everyone's vote!)
