TODAY IS THE DAY! The Crestwood Wahoos take on the Gulf Park Sharks tonight, and our theme is...

🍌 GO BANANAS! 🍌

Wear your yellow and go bananas with your team spirit! We will be awarding a Spirit Award to the best dressed and most spirited swimmer.

Arrival Time

Swimmers should arrive between 4:30–4:45 PM.

If your swimmer would like to participate in the Spirit Contest, please arrive early. The winner will be announced at 4:45 PM.

WARM UP BEGINS AT 5pm!

Wahoos will set up at big pavilion, top of hill and by the deep end.  Guest team will set up near the tennis courts.

Remember to be respectful and kind to not only our swimmers but our guest swimmers as well! 

Before the Meet

Please make sure your swimmer has:

✔️ Name and age written clearly on their shoulder

✔️ Event number, heat, and lane number written on their arm

This helps swimmers become more independent and allows volunteers and coaches to assist them quickly if needed.

Clerk of Course Gathering Areas

Look for the flags behind the blocks:

🚩 Red Flag = 8 & Under

⚪ White Flag = 9–10

🔵 Blue Flag = 11–12

These will serve as gathering locations for swimmers when called to their events.

Volunteers

All volunteers should attend the Workers Meeting at 5:45 PM in the courtyard. Please make every effort to be there so you don't miss important meet information.

Parking

Please do NOT park on the grass in the front lot or side yards.

Additional parking is available behind the tennis courts.

Team Shirts

If you have not picked up your team shirt, please do so BEFORE the meet begins. Shirts will not be left out throughout the evening. These shirts will be worn for our team picture and EVERY swimmer gets a shirt.

Food & Treats

The Snack Shack will be serving:

🍔 Hamburgers

🍌 Banana Splits

🥨 Snacks and refreshments

Cash and card will be accepted.

We are also excited to welcome Scoop Gods Water Ice to the pool tonight!

Remember, we are ONE UNITED TEAM, and we are excited to watch all the fast swims tonight!

To help our newer swimmers feel prepared, we'll be doing:

🍌 "Shake Banana – Peel Banana – GO BANANAS!"

and our Wahoo team chant:

📣 "C-R-E-S-T... WOOD! WOOD!"

We'll start quietly and get louder as we go. Our senior swimmers will help lead the chants, but participation from everyone is encouraged!

CANDY IS AVAILABLE FOR THE KIDS AFTER THEIR RACES. LOOK FOR THE CANDY BOWL!
