Wahoo! There's been some fantastic swimming during both preliminary sessions this weekend. By my count, 39 swimmers out of the total 77 will be swimming 1 or more events for points tomorrow! If your swimmer placed 16th place or better, I expect them to be at the team tent by 7:15am. Our warmups are 15 minutes earlier, so I am trusting that everyone will be on time! If your swimmer is 17th or 18th place (1st and 2nd alternate) they should also be at the meet. Kids get sick, hurt, or leave town for various reasons all the time, opening up a spot for the alternates to swim. If you did not make it back, don't let that discourage you from cheering on your teammates! Finals day is a fun day to witness, as swimmers are paraded out for their heats, and announced over the intercom, among other things. 

Rest up tonight, eat healthy, and drink lots of fluids before going to bed. We have a big day tomorrow, so let's get excited! Don't worry, parents. This is my last email to the team. Thanks to those of you who continued to read them and stay informed. Thanks for such an incredible summer, allowing me to spend so much time getting to know each of your kids. There is no greater satisfaction of mine than seeing the joy on a swimmer's face when all the hard work pays off and they go a best time. I am sad, but looking forward to finishing up what's been 18 life-changing years at Crestwood tomorrow. I wouldn't have wanted to spend them anywhere else.
