As you know, Smoky Mountain Invitational is this weekend at Springbrook Pool in Alcoa. You can find directions by searching on Google Maps for the pool. Swimmers are required to be at the team tent by 7:30am both Saturday and Sunday. Again, the 11 & Ups swim on Saturday, while the 10 & Unders swim on Sunday. I have not been notified of where our tent location is this year, but if it is where we requested and has been historically, it is in the corner of the park inside the fence at the intersection of Vose Rd and Faraday St. It would be ideal to park on that side of the park. Get ready for a great weekend of fast and fun swimming! 

Friday, July 10th (today), we are meeting at Strike and Spare Family Bowl off Hayfield Rd at 2pm. Games are cheapest during this time for only $1.50 per game, plus shoe rental. All ages are invited, so show up and get ready for some gutterballs! If you could notify me at practice if you are planning to come, this would be greatly appreciated to help anticipate a total number of kids for the bowling alley. Unfortunately, the "Kids Bowl Free" doesn't apply on Fridays, but games are still cheap, so please try and make it!

Also, we will be going on a hike for all 12 & Unders at Mead's Quarry by Ijam's Nature Center @ 10am. If you've never been, it's an easy drive off of James White Pkwy, and a beautiful and easy hike for all. Drive past the main Ijam's Nature Center entrance and take an immediate right at the railroad tracks. There is a big parking lot that you won't miss, we will meet at the paddleboard rental at front. The hike should last about an hour, and kids are welcome to stick around after to paddleboard in the quarry. The rate is $11/hour. Please show up for this fun event for the kids!

Lastly, please RSVP for our last dual meet at home against Westside YMCA, as well as the City Championship meet. I need this information ASAP, as we are beginning lineups for both meets and paying entry fees. I appreciate your cooperation.
