In an effort to minimize emails, I'm fitting a lot of important upcoming info into this email. Please read in its entirety. 

First, remember that today (Friday) is Olympic Day! Wear your red, white, and blue and get ready for fun games! Points will be awarded to best dressed. Also, please bring running shoes as they will be needed to start. 

Second, the team movie on Saturday has unfortunately been canceled. The pool will be having a cookout starting at 11:30, please stop by and support the pool! 

Third, I need RSVPs for SMI, Holston Hills ASAP! Regarding those meets, I noticed that there has been a great "yes" response so far to the Holston meet, but a much, much worse response to the SMI meet just a few days after. If you are in town, it is expected that you attend the meet. This meet used to be an invitational, meaning only 50 kids from each team were allowed each day. This is no longer the case, so our strength is in numbers. Please come to the SMI if you are in town. While you are RSVPing for those meets, you might as well RSVP for the last 2 meets, WSY and City Meet. Same message goes for those meets. Our standing in the league is not final until after City Meet team standings. The team needs you. 

Fourth, there have been some changes to the calendar. The updated version is attached and will be posted at the pool. The swimathon has been moved to the 20th, and bowling as been moved to next Friday. Games are only $1.50, and kids bowl free if you register your kids in advance at this website (https://www.kidsbowlfree.com/center.php?alley_id=4214). We are meeting at the Family Bowl Strike and Spare (213 Hayfield Lane 37922) @ 2pm. All age groups are welcome!
