Wahoos,

The season is now underway, and the coaches were pleased with what we saw at the meet! There were lots of fast times and personal bests, no better way to start the season. Unfortunately, the first-meet nerves prevailed as we lost to Fox Den 400-300. As you could imagine for any first meet, there were also a lot of weak points highlighted in the meet that we as coaches, you as parents, and your kids as swimmers could improve to greatly improve our overall team's success at our dual meets. 

There was a minor hiccup with the ribbons due to the new meet management software the entire league has implemented this season. The software should be fixed soon, and the ribbons should be in the family folder box under the small pavilion early this week. Thank you for your patience!

As for swimmers, it is imperative that everyone arrives on time to a meet at the time that is instructed through emails and at practice. If swimmers aren't at the meet on time, coaches have to assume they aren't coming, and cue the stress. So please help out the coaches and the rest of the team by arriving at the appropriate time. 

As for coaches, we noticed several things that we could do better to prepare the team for a meet environment. As always, please feel comfortable to voice any concerns to the coaches. The first step in fixing a problem is recognizing there is one! 

Again, thank y'all for everything that y'all do to keep the Crestwood wheels running! We are looking forward to the rest of the season! Keep an eye out soon for emails regarding fun  extracurricular events for all age groups!
