Thanks to all that have already signed up to work our swim meet against Fox Den on Thursday, 6/11.  

We still have quite a few jobs open.  We still need timers, scribes, scoring table, and 2nd half stroke and turn. 
Please sign up for your shift before 8am on the day of the meet.  I will need an additional timer/scribe since we are swimming 8 lanes.  I cannot add this to the sign up sheet, so if those jobs are full and you would like to time/scribe please let me know.

As has been rumored, Fox Den does not allow outside food (coolers) to be brought into the pool.  This is not a swim team rule, but a rule enforced by the Fox Den County Club.  Please plan accordingly.  Attached is a letter from Fox Den with directions and pool specifics.  This is the first time we have been to Fox Den to swim.  Please plan to arrive by 5pm to allow plenty of time to park, unload, (eat outside fence), and be ready to be in the water by 5:30.

For those of you new to swim team, there is some great information under the "Manual" tab on the swim team home page.  These articles have lots of information about what to bring/not bring, descriptions of swim meet jobs, and what to expect in general. 

Finally, as this season gets underway, we are already planning for next summer.  We are looking for parents that might be interested in being on the swim team board next summer, but we also really need a vice-president and an assistant meet director for this summer.  A smooth transition and successful 2016 season depends on a few great parents that are ready to get involved. Please let any of us know if you are interested.
