Thanks from all the coaches for an awesome start to the swim season. We're very thrilled with the way practices have been going and are encouraged to see such fast improvement already. 

As you should already know, the Intrasquad Meet is TOMORROW! I need for every parent to go online and please RSVP for the meet ASAP! As of this email, still 2/3 of all registered swimmers have not RSVP'd. Please do so immediately so that we can run an efficient meet tomorrow night. On that note, if you have your summer schedule already figured out, you can go ahead and RSVP for every meet of the season right now. You can change the status if plans change up to 48 hours prior to a meet. Please have all swimmers at the pool by 5pm, ready to go for warm up. We will be swimming every event (Butterfly, Backstroke, Breaststroke, Freestyle, IM) except for relays. Additionally, if you have not signed up for a volunteer position, please do so. This is a great meet to learn. 

A note regarding meets . . . Meets are a huge part of the team's success. In fact, our ranking in the division and league overall depend solely on our competition at meets. If swimmers don't show, relays get scratched, lanes are empty, and major points are forfeited. This is equally true for the 2 big meets at the end of the year (City and Smoky Mtn). Also, meets are a great time for swimmers to spend together outside of their allotted practice times, allowing for tons of fun memories. So please help out the team and come to the meets!
