Hi Parents and Swimmers,

First... WOW!  Great job at SMI everyone : )  I am proud of each and every one of you!  Your hard work throughout the season is really starting to pay off!  Our team came in an impressive overall score of 6th out of 27 teams overall... and second in League Two!  We will give ribbons and medals out tomorrow during Monday Fun Day... Stay posted bc tomorrow I would like to honor all swimmers who got medals or placed at the meet!

Also, here are some additional important things to keep in mind...

STROKE AND TURN CLINIC: This upcoming week at 5:30PM - 6:30PM the coaches will be holding a stroke and turn clinic T-W and the following week M-W for swimmers interested in fine-tuning their strokes and starts/turns before City Meet.  Regular evening practice times will be pushed back thirty minutes, so regular evening practice will be held 6:30PM - 7:30PM during clinic days.  The cost is $15 per session, or $50 for all five sessions.  This is a great opportunity to get some additional stroke work in, please talk to one of us if you are considering coming, and email Coach Brittany if you know ahead of time which clinics you would like to attend!  This week T will be breastroke/pullouts, W will be backsroke, the following M will be butterfly, T will be freestyle, and W will be starts and turns!

BFST and CITY SWIM MEETS: Please RSVP to both meets by the end of the day Monday!  There are 40 swimmers who have not RSVP'd for Thursday's meet, and almost 50 swimmers who have not RSVP'd for City Meet.  Please check the website and be sure your info is up to date on swim meet attendance RSVP info!  It takes a lot of time and effort to follow up with this many swimmers.

FUN SATURDAY: Just a reminder this Saturday the 12&U will be watching a movie as a group, 12+ age group will be having a potluck park day at the Cove out in Farragut!
