We have received our worker assignments for the Smoky Mountain Invitational Meet held at Springbrook Pool this weekend.

We have no assigned jobs for Sunday.  
10 & under parents you get to take the "work" day off, but please watch for City Meet jobs soon.  If you would like to take a Specialty Job please email Debbie Knight at [email protected].

11 & up parents... Due to the extremely long shifts that are assigned each year at SMI, I have divided the length of OUR shifts in half.  This gives us a total 12 jobs to fill: 6 scribe/pickle shifts, 4 timer shifts, 2 jump judge shifts.  The jobs are assigned by event number.  I hope these shifts will be less than 2 hours.

We do not have an approximate timeline for the meet yet, but I will forward it if I get one.

Specialty jobs:   SMI is always in need of specialty workers (S&T, Deck Ref, Head timers, Announcers, and Finish Judges).  HOWEVER, I would like to get my required jobs filled before we volunteer to take on more jobs.  If you are qualified for one of these jobs and have a 10 & under swimmer, this would be a great way for you to help out.  SMI is always looking for additional workers on Sunday.  Please reply to this email if you would be interested in working a Specialty Job either Saturday or Sunday.
